Pink Martini's epic 2021 concert from Edgefield, just outside of the band's hometown of Portland, Oregon, featured this rare concert gem, "Perfidia," a duet between the band's regular guest singer Edna Vazquez and special guest at this concert, former Miss America Katie Harman Ebner. a regular guest of the band on tour. This oft-recorded song was originally written by Mexican composer Alberto Domínguez in 1939 and became a hit for Xavier Cugat in 1940. This performance, filmed on a rainy day in September 2021, soon after the band started touring again after a long hiatus during quarantine, features Robert Taylor on trombone and bandleader Thomas Lauderdale on piano.
