Live from Basel's popular AVO SESSION festival (now known as Baloise Session) on October 22, 2011, Portland, Oregon's "little orchestra" Pink Martini plays their cover of the Italian hit "Tuca Tuca" made famous by Raffaella Carrà in 1971, complete with its own specific "touch touch" dance that bandleader Thomas Lauderdale and lead singer Storm Large perform mid-song. Written by Gianni Boncompagni and Franco Pisano, Pink Martini's version of the song was first heard on their 2009 album "Splendor in the Grass." This live performance features Jeffrey Budin on trombone, bandleader Thomas Lauderdale on piano, and Storm Large on lead vocals.
