Today is the first official day of our Dream a Little Dream Photo Scavenger Hunt! Here’s the list of nine Dream a Little Dream-inspired items you need to find in order to win:

1. A pale pink coat
2. An ice cream cone
3. Sunbeams
4. Lederhosen
5. A ukulele
6. A bust of Brahms/Brahms look-alike
7. Fireworks
8. A goat
9. A black cat

And just in case you missed the rules when we first announced the contest:

1) Grab your camera, hit the pavement, and comb your neighborhood! Capture the most interesting photo you can of each object, because our favorite sets of photos will be finalists for a grand prize! Don’t forget that this is also a race against time; the first person to send in all nine photos also wins a grand prize!

2) Once you’re satisfied with your collection of nine photos, email the images to info@pinkmartini.com with the subject line “Scavenger Hunt Photos”. The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 2.

3) All photos submitted must be original photos shot by you personally! If you use images you find online you will be disqualified from the contest.

4) The first person to send in a complete set of nine original photos will win one of two Grand Prizes. We’ll announce this winner soon after we receive the first complete set.

5) On Friday, May 9, we will release the five photo collections we liked best and ask you to vote for your favorite. We’ll announce the Best in Show winner after two weeks of voting.

6) Starting May 12 we will gradually release our top nine Best in Category photos, voted on by Pink Martini; the winners will each receive a Best in Category prize.

Everyone who completes the contest by sending in a full set of nine original photos receives a fantastic Dream a Little Dream Prize Pack!

Prizes:

Two Grand Prizes (First to Complete and Best in Show): Two tickets to any Pink Martini show in 2014 or 2015 (subject to availability) and a limited edition Dream a Little Dream Collector’s Pack, which includes: a signed copy of the album (CD or vinyl, your choice); a signed copy of August von Trapp’s original comic, Harmonic Break; a Pink Martini/Dream a Little Dream t-shirt; Pink Martini buttons; the von Trapp family schnitzel recipe; and more!
Nine Best in Category Prizes: A signed copy of Dream a Little Dream (CD or vinyl).
Honorable Mentions: A Dream a Little Dream Prize pack full of collectible Pink Martini and von Trapp merchandise.
